St. Louis Steamers News Release

St. Louis, MO - Brett Phillips takes home the top performance of the week by a goalkeeper honors for last week. The 36 year old Tampa, FL native earned the award after making 11 saves against the Philadelphia Kixx in a 8-4 victory by the Steamers.

Not only did he stop 11 shots on goal, but also recorded a goal and an assist to help the Steamers pull away in the final period. The week before, Phillips was overrun by the Baltimore Blast 12-5 in a game that ultimately got him pulled from the action. But he was able to put that performance behind him and focus on the next game, one in which the Steamers never trailed.

St. Louis next plays on the road, Saturday, December 3 at the Milwaukee Wave starting at 1:05 p.m. The next home game is this Sunday against the expansion California Cougars starting at 6:35 p.m. at Savvis Center.
