California was led by Ricardinho (two assists), Ronnie Ekelund (goal, assist), and Bernie Lilavois (goal, assist) ... Unusual Contributor: Defender Ptah Myers is one of three players on the KiXX roster to have registered at least one point in each of the club's first three contests of the 2005-06 campaign ... this is unusual and unexpected, considering the 23-year-old native of Columbus, OH recorded a total of nine points (six goals, three assists) in 35 games all of last season ... the UMASS product first connected on the game-winning overtime goal in the team's home opener versus California on November 12 and then added an assist versus Milwaukee on November 19 ... Myers concluded the month with a score in St. Louis on November 26 ... fellow second-year veteran John Barry Nusum and eight-year veteran Goran Vasic are the other two scorers that have notched at least one point in each game this season.
Power Play?!: Philadelphia's power-play unit has failed to capitalize on a man-advantage opportunity this season ... the KiXX are currently scoreless on three power-play situations, remaining the only club that has yet to connect on a power-play goal in 2005-06 ... vice versa, the club's penalty-killing unit ranks third in the six-team League, blocking two-of-the-four (50.0) man-down situations they have faced ... last season, Philadelphia ranked third in power-play success rate (27-50, 54.0) and first in kill rate (33-51, 64.7).
Scorin' Goran: KiXX forward Goran Vasic has recorded one assist in each of the club's three contests this season, one of only three members to have recorded at least one point in each contest (Ptah Myers, John Barry Nusum) ... the eight-year veteran connected with player/coach Don D'Ambra for the team's first goal of the 2005-06 campaign versus California on November 12 and then added a dish versus Milwaukee on November 19 and in St. Louis on November 26 ... the native of Belgrade, Yugoslavia has led the team in assists each of the last two seasons and finished the 2004-05 campaign fifth on the team with 42 points on 11 goals and 31 assists.
Television Broadcasts: The 2005-06 KiXX television package continues with the club's contest versus the expansion California Cougars on Saturday, December 3 ... the five-game package kicked-off versus the Cougars on November 12, a 7-6 overtime victory for Philadelphia ... each telecast broadcasts live on CN8, The Comcast Network which currently reaches 7.1 million households from Maine to Virginia ... veteran broadcaster Bob Lampinen will provide the play-by-play, while Jimmy Harrison will again serve as the color analyst ... overall, with the victory on November 12, the team posts an 12-7 record when competing in a game that is televised on CN8, the Comcast Network, over the past four seasons ... the complete 2005-06 television schedule is as follows:
