CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union announced today that they have transferred midfielder Eric Ayuk to Turkish First League club Osmanlispor FK.

"We'd like to thank Eric for his hard work here in Philadelphia and wish him well at his new club," said Chris Albright, Union Technical Director. "We believe this is the best move for both Eric's future and for the Union at this time."

Ayuk, 21, appeared in 29 regular-season games (15 starts) over three-and-a-half seasons in Philadelphia, scoring two goals and adding two assists. He was also instrumental in the Union's run to the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final in 2015, scoring the game-tying goal in the Fifth Round win over D.C. United as well as the opening goal in the Quarterfinal win over the New York Red Bulls.

Internationally, he has appeared for Cameroon's youth teams, most recently for their U-20s at the 2017 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

Before coming to Philadelphia, he appeared for Thai clubs Surin City and Phichit. While with the Union, he also spent time on loan with Swedish topflight side Jönköpings Södra IF, making 12 appearances for them in 2017.
