
Philadelphia Union Announce 2014 Preseason Training Fan Trip Details

Chester, Pa. (Jan. 10, 2013) - Philadelphia Union announced today details for the club's 2014 Preseason Training Fan Trip in Central Florida, which will take place from Feb. 7-9. The Union will be training at the Dewey O. Boster Sports Complex in Deltona, Fla. for the third straight year.
Packages are available at $165 for adults (ages 13 and up) and $99 for children (ages 12 and under). Fans will receive a commemorative preseason gift and a credential for all trip packages purchased for the trip. Additionally, all packages include free transportation to and from the hotel for all Union events.
To kick off the fan trip, the Union will host a welcome reception Friday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. ET at a location to be determined. Attended by members of the Philadelphia Union, the reception will offer fans food and a chance to meet several players upon their arrival to Florida.
On Saturday, Feb. 8, fans can watch a Philadelphia Union scrimmage match against an opponent at the Dewey O. Boster Sports Complex, with a player autograph session to follow. The Union's opponent will be named at a later date.
The Union will also host an open training session Sunday, Feb. 9, where fans have exclusive access to watch a first-team practice. Following training, fans can enjoy lunch with Philadelphia Union players and technical staff.
A hotel block will be made available in Lake Mary, Fla. for all Union fans traveling for the Preseason Training Fan Trip. This room block will feature a discounted rate and will be the pick-up and drop-off location for the Union events. Philadelphia Union will be participating in the Walt Disney World Pro Soccer Classic during preseason training along with Sporting Kansas City, Columbus Crew, Montreal Impact, Toronto FC, Orlando City and New York Red Bulls. Matches will take place on Feb. 19, 22, 26 and March 1. Tickets for these matches are available at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Box Office. Single game tickets or full day sessions may be purchased.
