Philadelphia Union News Release
CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union today announced they have reached a transfer agreement with Oxford United FC for defender Stuart Findlay in exchange for an undisclosed transfer fee.
"Stuart has been a great addition to the club and was able to step in and fill major roles every time we needed him," said Philadelphia Union Sporting Director, Ernst Tanner. "Given our defense has been a strength of ours this year, this is the right step for both Stuart and for the club, and we wish him success with Oxford United FC."
The 26-year-old joined the Union from Kilmarnock F.C. in 2021. Over the course of two seasons, he made 11 appearances for the Union (eight starts). Findlay scored his first goal for the club against Orlando City SC in the 2022 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
Transaction: Philadelphia Union transfer Stuart Findlay to Oxford United FC in exchange for an undisclosed transfer fee on July 20, 2022.
