Philadelphia Recalls Teslak & Bourdon From Adirondack

GLENS FALLS, NY - The Adirondack Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, announced today that Philadelphia has recalled rookie defenseman Marc-Andre Bourdon and goaltender Michael-Lee Teslak to the NHL from loan with the Phantoms.

Bourdon, 20, recorded two assists in two preseason games with Adirondack after he was assigned to the Phantoms on September 21st. The St. Hyacinthe, Quebec native signed an entry-level NHL contract on July 24, 2009 and was selected by the Flyers in the third round (67th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

Teslak, 23, was also assigned to the Phantoms on September 21st and appeared in one preseason contest with Adirondack, stopping three-of-five shots through 30:04 of play in the Phantoms game at Albany on September 26th.

The Flyers also announced Thursday that they have signed free agent forward Blair Betts to a one-year NHL contract.

Adirondack opens the 2009-10 Regular Season on Saturday, October 3rd as they host the Worcester Sharks for a 7:00 pm face off at the Glens Falls Civic Center. As of Thursday morning, fewer than 900 tickets remain available for Opening Night.
