
Philadelphia Heads South to Battle the Blast

Philadelphia, PA, March 5, 2004 â After enjoying a short break for the 2004 Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) All-Star Game, in which the League's USA unit defeated MISL International 10-1 on Sunday, February 29, the Philadelphia KiXX (16-10) return to action for a pair of weekend games. The two-game weekend kicks-off with a trip south to the 1st Mariner Arena to battle defending League Champion Baltimore Blast (20-8) tonight, March 5. Entering the contest, the KiXX trail Baltimore by three full games for the top spot in the Eastern Division standings and hold a 3-1 advantage in their previous four head-to-head meetings. The contest is scheduled to kick-off at 7:35 pm ET.
The club then returns to the Wachovia Spectrum on Sunday, March 7 to welcome the San Diego Sockers. Philadelphia split their first two decisions versus the Sockers, both of which were held at the San Diego Sports Arena, before completely shutting down San Diego, 5-0, on January 17 in the City of Brotherly Love. Game-time is slated for 1:05 pm ET.
