Rescheduled Monterrey home game announced

(Westport, Conn., March 5, 2004) - The Major Indoor Soccer League has announced the rescheduled game dates and start times for four games originally scheduled to take place at Arena Monterrey in January and February. Those contests were postponed due to circumstances beyond the League's control.
The games initially scheduled in Monterrey for January 11 and February 8, 20, and 22 have all been re-slated, with the first such game set for Wednesday, March 10. A fifth game that was originally scheduled to take place on Friday, March 19 (San Diego at Monterrey), has also been moved to Thursday, March 18.
The Dallas Sidekicks, San Diego Sockers, and St. Louis Steamers are all affected by the revised schedule.
The 2003-04 MISL regular season will now last one day longer than originally planned, as St. Louis will play in Monterrey on Monday, April 5.

The Major Indoor Soccer League is a single-entity organization featuring a coast-to-coast presence with eight teams located across the United States and a ninth team in Monterrey, Mexico. On February 27, the League announced an expansion team in Stockton, CA, set to begin play in 2005-06. The MISL is the single major league of indoor soccer, playing a 162-regular season game schedule that concludes on April 5, 2004.
