BRAMPTON, ON - Brampton Beast Assistant Coach Phil Oreskovic announced today the resignation of his assistant coaching duties with the club. Beast President and General Manager Cary Kaplan made the statement public through the team's official website and social media this morning.

"On behalf of the entire Beast organization, we extend our thanks to Phil for his professionalism, dedication and commitment to the team," said Kaplan. "We wish him the very best moving forward."

Oreskovic, a Brampton native, was the third assistant coach in Beast history, being officially named to the post on March 4th, 2015. Prior to the hiring, Oreskovic suited up for 14 games on the Beast blueline before sustaining a season-ending injury in early December.
