
Phil Fox Called up by Houston Aeros of AHL

FORT WORTH, Texas (February 22) - Fort Worth Brahmas second-year forward Phil Fox was called up Friday by the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League. Fox will play the first AHL game of his career when the Aeros visit the Oklahoma City Barons Friday night.
In just his second professional season, Fox is second on the team in goals this season despite spending over a month on the injured reserve. In 30 games played, the Stillwater, Minnesota native has notched 26 points (18 goals, eight assists) and posted a +12 plus/minus rating. His six game-winning goals is tied for the league lead.
The 5-foot-11, 205-pound winger was named CHL Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, November 18.
The Brahmas have three upcoming games this week, including a home-and-away double-header versus the cross-town rival Allen Americans Saturday, February 23 at the NYTEX Sports Centre and Sunday, February 24 at the Allen Event Center. Fort Worth also hosts the Missouri Mavericks Friday, February 22 at 7:30pm at the NYTEX Sports Centre.
