Petes to Host Rival Ottawa 67's on Thursday, September 22 in 2016/17 Home Opener

(Peterborough, ON) - The Peterborough Petes will host the East Division rival Ottawa 67's on Thursday, September 22 at 7:05pm at the Peterborough Memorial Centre. The game will kick off the 2016/17 schedule - the Petes' 61st season - and is part of the annual #OHLOpeningWeek festivities.

The full Petes and OHL schedule will be release on Wednesday, June 22. Petes 10- and 20-ticket flex packs will go on sale on July 4 at 9am, and single game tickets will be available for purchase during training camp. Season tickets are on sale now.

The September 22 home opener is a rematch of the Petes' 2015/16 opener game, which Peterborough won 5-4. Petes forward Steve Lorentz scored the first goal just ten seconds into the game, which was also the first goal of the 2015/16 OHL season.
