Petes Cage Bulldogs for Third Straight Win

(Peterborough, ON) - A rocky start in Hamilton was quickly resurrected on Friday night as the Petes skated to a 5-3 road win over the Bulldogs for their third straight victory and second in as many nights. Peterborough's record improves to 18-6-1-1 to take sole possession of first place in the OHL.

Liam Kirk (13, 14) scored twice for the third time this season. Declan Chisholm (4), Tucker Robertson (5), and Zach Gallant (13) had one goal apiece.

Semyon Der-Arguchintsev recorded three assists, bringing his team-leading points total to 34 (4G, 30A). Hudson Wilson had two assists for the second straight game, marking the first time the defenceman has recorded back-to-back multi-point games; he has two assists in three of his last four games. Kirk, Chisholm, J.R. Avon, and Keegan McMullen all registered single assists.

Final shots were 33-27 in favour of the Petes. Peterborough's fourth ranked power play was 2/6 and their fifth ranked penalty kill was 5/6. Hunter Jones made 26 saves in his 16th win of the season.

The Petes will wrap up their weekend against the Otters when they travel to Erie for the only time this season on Saturday, November 30 at 7:00pm. Peterborough returns to home ice on Thursday, December 5 at 7:05pm to welcome the London Knights for Teddy Bear Toss night.
