Petes Announce Thursday Night Live Finale

(Peterborough, ON) - Fans are encouraged to tune into this week's Thursday Night Live finale on Thursday, August 26 at 12:00 pm on the Petes Facebook page , to reflect on the best moments captured on the show since its debut on Thursday, September 24, 2020.

The 'Best of Thursday Night Live' will see moments from Natalie Spooner, who is currently participating in the IIHF Women's World Championship, David Ayres, James Cybulski, James Duthie, Jayna Hefford, former Pete Greg Millen, and many more.

During the first intermission, fans can re-watch chef rivals Darren Dreger and General Manager Michael Oke go head-to-head in the kitchen after Dregger claims he could out-cook Oke during a Thursday Night Live broadcast.

As Training Camp and the 2021-22 Petes season approaches, fans will see updated information and promotion for the upcoming season, during the second intermission.

"It was great to be able to connect with some of the biggest names in the sports industry," said Riley Maracle, Sr. Coordinator Game Operations and Major Events. "It will be bittersweet to say goodbye to this great show, but I am extremely excited to get back to what we love the most, Petes hockey."

The Petes welcomed over 35 guests each Thursday from different areas in the sports industry such as broadcasters, Peterborough icons, current and former athletes, and those who hold positions in the business side of sports.

The Petes will welcome the Sudbury Wolves and first overall draft pick Quentin Musty for their home opener on Thursday, October 14 at 7:05 pm. Tickets are now on sale for the 2021-22 season. Preseason single game tickets are on sale now through the PMC Grant Thornton Box Office. Regular Season single game tickets will go on sale at the Box Office in September.
