
Penguins Playoff Dates Announced

WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers will square off in the East Division Semifinals of the Calder Cup Playoffs, it was determined on Saturday night.
The standings for the top four spots in the East Division were solidified after play on Saturday night. Hershey defeated the Philadelphia Phantoms, 3-2; Bridgeport downed the Lowell Devils, 3-1; and the Penguins fell to the Norfolk Admirals, 4-3. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton will finish the regular season in third place in the division regardless of whether the Penguins win on Sunday afternoon in Hershey.
The first round playoff schedule for the Penguins is:

This will be the third time the Penguins and Sound Tigers have met in postseason play. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton downed Bridgeport, four games to three, in both the 2004 and 2006 East Division Semifinals.
