
Pelicans Transfer Zylan Cheatham & Josh Gray to New Orleans

ERIE, PAÃÂ - The New Orleans Pelicans announced today they have transferred two-way players Zylan Cheatham and Josh Gray to New Orleans from the Erie BayHawks.
Cheatham (6-8, 220) has appeared in 14 games with the BayHawks this season, averaging 15.3 points, 11.6 rebounds (third in G League), 2.6 assists and 1.1 steals in 30.4 minutes. Cheatham is currently one of two players in the league averaging at least 15.0 points and 11.5 rebounds.
Gray (6-1, 170) is currently in the top 10 in the G League in points (24.9, second), steals (2.6, fourth), minutes (37.1, fourth) and assists (7.3, ninth). In Erie's 121-114 victory over the Knicks, Gray notched 15 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals in 26 minutes.
Erie takes on the Oklahoma City Blue this Friday, January 3, before starting a three-game road trip (Jan. 6-10). Tip for this weekend's contest is set for 7 p.m.
