The Jim Malleck Memorial Trophy is awarded to the team's most valuable player. Hailing from the Czech Republic, goaltender Pavel Cajan become known for making athletic saves during crucial moments of the game. This six-foot two import back-stopper quickly became a fan favourite finishing out the regular season with a solid .901 save percentage and 21 wins. Congratulations to this year's Jim Malleck Memorial Trophy winner, Pavel Cajan.
