
Paulo Jr Named to USSF D-2 Best XI

Miami, Oct 21, 2010 U.S. Soccer announced today that Miami FC midfielder Paulo Araujo Jr. was named to the 2010 USSF best eleven. He finished the regular season with eight goals and 20 points. Paulo is currently on loan and playing with the reigning MLS Champions, Real Salt Lake.
"We, at Miami FC and Traffic Sports, are extremely happy to see Paulo Jr. named to the USSF Division - 2 best XI. Not only did Paulo show it at the D-2 level, but he is currently showing his qualities now with Real Salt Lake at the Champions League level," said Director of Soccer Fernando Clavijo.
The Brazilian forward has already made an impact with RSL, notching two goals in the 3-1 victory over Cruz Azul in the group stage of the CONCACAF Champions League. Paulo also made an impact in U.S Open Cup scoring 5 goals and finishing as the leading goal scorer in the nation's oldest soccer tournament.
