
Paul joins Polar Twins lineup

[WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.] âWinston-Salem Polar Twins Head Coach Bryan Wells announced yesterday that he has signed defenseman Richard Paul to a contract and released Bill Cass.
Paul, a 6'2" 227-pound blueliner, joins the Polar Twins after nine games with Port Huron of the United Hockey League. In that time, the Halifax, Nova Scotia native two assists and 19 penalty minutes. In 2003-04, Paul played in 67 games for the Johnstown Chiefs of the ECHL where he tallied two goals and four assists and 182 penalty minutes.
To create room on the roster, Wells released defenseman Bill Cass. In 30 games this season for the Polar Twins, Cass had eight points (2G, 6A), 60 penalty minutes, and was a -28.
