Pats Unveil Christmas Sweater Jersey
December 9, 2015 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Regina Pats News Release
Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats get into the holiday spirit to close out their pre-Christmas schedule wearing a special edition Christmas Sweater Jersey on Saturday, December 19 against the Moose Jaw Warriors.
This marks the first time the Pats have worn a Christmas Sweater styled jersey. The uniform is modeled closely after the Pats current navy blue jersey, but adds a red stripe across the middle and exchanges the team's standard red trim for a winter themed design.
Fans are encouraged to join in the fun by wearing their own Christmas sweaters to the game. There will be prizes for the best/worst/ugliest sweaters in the crowd.
Anyone with a wardrobe lacking Christmas sweaters is in luck. The Neutral Zone Authentic Pats Sportwear has a new navy Pats Christmas Sweater in stock for $19.99. Lucky fans can get their hands on white, long and short sleeved Pats Christmas shirts tossed in the stands courtesy of Extreme Hockey.
For those wanting to take home the real thing, the game worn jerseys will be auctioned off on the concourse of the Brandt Centre during the December 19 game.
Tickets for the Pats' Christmas Sweater Night are available at Ticketmaster.ca, the Brandt Centre Box Office and Safeway locations throughout Regina.
