
Pats to honor World Under-17 Hockey Challenge winners

Regina SK ---- Last night in Lethbridge five members of the Regina Pats competed in the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge Gold Medal Game in Lethbridge. Team Western defeated Team Pacific 3 - 1 to wrap up the international tournament, which began on December 27th.
Goaltender Ryan Nieszner, Defencemen Logan Pyett & Craig Schira along with forwards Ian Duval & Ryan McDonald all played key roles in guiding Team Western to the gold medal.
The sixteen-year-olds will be honoured in a ceremony prior to tonight's game vs. Prince Albert.
Both Rejean Beauchemin & Jeremy Colliton, members of Canada's Gold Medal World Junior Team are also expected to be in attendance for the game.
