Pats Rookie Camp Day 3 Recap

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats Hockey Club continued rookie camp for Sleek Signs on Thursday with three on-ice sessions.

Both rookie teams had practices in the morning and then met in a scrimmage in the evening at the Brandt Centre.

Team Stephenson came away with a 4-1 victory over Team Weal.

Scoring Summary:

1st Period

Team Weal Goalie: Jared Thompson (9 saves)

Team Stephenson Goalie: Jackson Dylla (14 saves)

Goals

Team Stephenson - Cooper Chisholm (1) from Rhett Gibson - 2:24.

Team Weal - Jake Snashall (1) from Adam Grenier and Dawson Good - 14:00.

2nd Period

Team Weal Goalie: Carson Ironside (12 saves)

Team Stephenson Goalie: Andy Vlaha (15 saves)

Team Stephenson - Rhett Gibson (1) from Sam McGinley - 2:00.

Team Stephenson - Colby Wotton (1) from Rhett Gibson - 12:00.

Team Stephenson - Colby Bear (1) from Cooper Chisholm - 17:50.

3rd Period

Team Weal Goalie: Tristan Martin (13 saves)

Team Stephenson Goalie: Levi Hall (15 saves)

Goals - None

Rookie camp will conclude on Friday morning with a scrimmage between Team Weal and Team Stephenson at 11 a.m. at the Brandt Centre.

The Pats will kick off the 2018 pre-season on August 31 against the Swift Current Broncos at 7 p.m. at the Brandt Centre. Season tickets and 17-game packages for the 2018-19 season are available now by visiting reginapats.com.
