
Pats Acquire Adam McNutt from Prince Albert

Regina, Sask. -ÃÂ The Regina Pats announced Tuesday that they have traded 2003-born forward Sloan Stanick to the Prince Albert Raiders in exchange for 2003-born defenceman Adam McNutt.
McNutt, 18, has appeared in four games this season for the Raiders and spent last year with them as well, scoring a goal and adding three helpers in 22 games. The Saskatoon, Sask. native played his U-15 hockey with the Saskatoon Generals and U-18 hockey with the Saskatoon Contacts, recording 27 points (7G-20A) during the 2019-20 season. The 6-foot, 201 lb.ÃÂ defenceman was previously drafted in the fourth round (68th overall) of the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.
"We are getting a right-shot defenceman who plays a physical game," said Regina Pats GM and VP of Hockey Operations John Paddock. "We look forward to him joining our organization."
Stanick, 18, hasÃÂ twoÃÂ goals and twoÃÂ assists in five games this season, tallying a career-high three points (2G-1A) on Saturday, October 2 against Prince Albert. TheÃÂ Rapid City, Man. native played parts of three seasons with the Pats, joining the club in the 2019-20 season after being acquired from the Everett Silvertips on January 11, 2019. The 6-foot-1, 176 lb.ÃÂ forward was previously selected by Everett in the seventh round (145th overall) in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.
