Albany, NY (September 25, 2007) - Tonight the Albany Patroons participated in the 22nd Annual Continental Basketball Association (CBA) College Draft.
The Patroons entered the draft with the ninth pick and chose Coby Karl, a 6'6" Guard from Boise State. During the next five rounds, the Patroons chose Chris Richard, a Center from Florida, Dwight Brewington, a Guard from Liberty College, Lee Humphrey, a Guard also from Florida, Rob Summers, a center from West Virginia University and Haron Hargrave, a Guard from Sacremento State. The Patroons maintain the rights of their 2007 Draft picks for two years.
At the conclusion of the CBA College Draft, Coach Askew stated, "I am very excited with the results of our draft, these are high level players that are used to winning."
