
Patroons Add Two to Roster

Albany, NY (October 1, 2007) - The Albany Patroons added two more players to their 2007-2008 roster: Dajan Smith, a 6'7" Forward and Patrick Culver, a 6'9" Forward.
Dajan Smith began the first half of his college career at Pasco Hernando (NJCAA) in Tampa Fl, and completed his eligibility at Lynn University (NCAA2). He began his Pro Basketball Career in Ireland where he contributed to the Irish Superleague Semifinals and was named Eurobasket.com All-Irish SuperLeague 2nd Team (2004). That same year he was named to the All-Columbian Federation Cup 1st Team (2004). Dajan had a successful year in 2005 as he played in both the ABA and WBA and won several awards. These awards include the ABA Blue Division Champion, ABA Semifinals, WBA Semifinals and the WBA 3rd Team All-Tournament. In 2006, Dajan was back in Ireland and was a substitute for the Irish SuperLeague All-Star Game. His last stint before signing with the Patroons was with the USBL Finalist, the Brooklyn Kings.
The Patroons added height to the team with the signing of Patrick Culver. Culver began his collegiate career at Shelton State C.C. and then transferred to Delta State University. He completed his eligibility at West Texas A&M University. Culver's professional career began in the WBA with the Druid City Dragons. Next he played in the ABA for the Mississippi Miracles and then the Tennessee Mud Frogs. Prior to joining the Patroons, Culver played in Colombia (Copa Federacion) for the San Andres Soles from August to October of 2007.
