Pasquale Earns Second Straight State Farm Player Of The Week Honors

(Saginaw, MI) Saginaw Spirit netminder Edward Pasquale earned the State Farm Player of the Week honors for the second consecutive week, thanks to his efforts last weekend. He allowed only four goals in two consecutive games, for a combined 75 saves on 79 shots. This week's State Farm Player of the Week honors are brought to you by Agent Jeff Hunt of Bay City, Agent Ray McConnell of Saginaw and Agent Cathy Tafel of Saginaw.

Pasquale posted 41 saves on 43 shots in a 2-1 loss to the London Knights in London last Friday to earn the games second star honors. The following day he turned aside 34 of 36 shots in a 4-2 victory over the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors at The Dow Event Center. Pasquale, a 2009 draft pick of the NHL Atlanta Thrashers, has earned a 3.32 goals against average and 0.912 save percentage in 44 games this season.
