Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC News Release
WINDSOR, Colo. - Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC forward Irvin Parra has been nominated for the USL League One Player of the Month Award for August. Parra was also nominated for the award back in April and in June.
In Parra's six starts in August, he scored three goals and created seven chances for Northern Colorado. Parra scored the game-winning goal against the then league-leading Greenville Triumph. The forward won 63% of his aerial duels and completed 69% of his passes. On the defensive end, he added ten tackles and blocked six shots.
The voting for the USL League One Player of the Month Award for August is now open.
Northern Colorado returns to action on Saturday, September 10, when they visit South Georgia Tormenta FC at Erk Russell Athletic Park at 7:30 p.m. EDT.
