Parker Wins NHRA Trophy

Since the inaugural season of the NAHL Aberdeen Wings, the organization has been a proud sponsor and partner of race teams in the area. WISSOTA Late Model and Modified racecar driver Kent Arment has won numerous races and titles, Wings vice-president Chris Odde has raced for over 20 years in various classes, and now the Aberdeen Wings have added a new CHAMPION to their race team.

Aberdeen Wings flag bearer Parker Odde took his team sponsored Jr. Dragster to the finals round Saturday and Sunday at the Top End Dragstrip in Fargo, ND. On Saturday, Parker was runnerup in the Jr. Minor class and raced well. On Sunday, Parker would win the title taking first and also received the coveted NHRA Wally Trophy, the most prestigious award in drag racing. "The Wally" trophy is known throughout drag racing as one of the highest honors and is the same award given to the professionals. He also received a remote controlled Bobcat and many NHRA prizes. Congrats to Parker Odde! He is the son of Wings vice-president Chris and Amber Odde.

Wings sponsored driver Kent Arment of the WISSOTA Dirt Track Series is currently top 10 in the WISSOTA National Points standings in the Modifieds and top 5 in the WISSOTA National Points standings in the Late Models.
