Paolo Frasca Named as the Mary Brown's Chicken OHL Goaltender of the Week

(GREATER SUDBURY, ON) - The Sudbury Wolves are proud to announce that overage goaltender Paolo Frasca has been named the Mary Brown's Chicken OHL Goaltender of the Week for the opening week of the 2026-27 season.

Frasca has been outstanding between the pipes for the Wolves through his first two appearances of the season, helping Sudbury secure victories in both games.

In his season debut, Frasca turned aside 25 of 26 shots en route to a 2-1 Wolves victory over the Peterborough Petes.

Frasca was back in the crease on the road against the Barrie Colts at Sadlon Arena, where he delivered a perfect performance. The Sudbury netminder stopped all 31 shots he faced to record his first career OHL shutout, securing a 2-0 victory for the Wolves.

Through his first two games of the 2026-27 campaign, Frasca has posted a 2-0-0 record, along with a 0.50 goals-against average, .982 save percentage, one shutout, and 56 saves.
