Published on September 21, 2026 under Ontario Hockey League (OHL) News Release
TORONTO - The Ontario Hockey League (OHL) is proud to announce a new partnership with ECHO Power Equipment Canada, naming ECHO the league's exclusive outdoor power equipment sponsor.
ECHO has established direct partnerships with each of the Canadian Hockey League's Member Leagues - the Western Hockey League (WHL), Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). Each agreement will feature league-specific campaigns and activations designed to connect ECHO with hockey fans and communities throughout the 2026-27 season.
"Partnering with the OHL represents an exciting step forward for ECHO in Canada," said Amy Carter, National Marketing Manager, ECHO Power Equipment Canada. "The WHL, OHL, and QMJHL are deeply rooted in the communities they represent, and those same communities are at the heart of our dealer network and brand. We look forward to engaging fans throughout the season and introducing even more Canadians to ECHO."
"ECHO is a brand built on the same foundation as our league - hardworking people in hometowns across our footprint," said Cole Butterworth, Senior Vice President of Business Operations for the OHL. "Our clubs and ECHO's dealers are woven into the same communities, and this partnership gives us a natural way to celebrate that connection with our fans throughout the 2026-27 season."
ECHO Hat Trick Giveaway to Celebrate OHL Fans
To celebrate its partnership with the Ontario Hockey League, ECHO will introduce the ECHO Hat Trick Giveaway. As part of the promotion, OHL fans will have the opportunity to win one of three major prize packages being awarded across the WHL, OHL and QMJHL.
One winner from the OHL contest will receive an ECHO outdoor power equipment prize package valued at approximately $1,690 CAD at MSRP. RTIC tumbler.
The OHL contest is expected to take place from September 16 through October 4, with complete prize details, eligibility requirements, official rules and entry instructions available here.
The giveaway will be one of several initiatives supporting ECHO's partnership with the OHL.
