Palmer to broadcast Dragons game

New York Giants quarterback Jesse Palmer will be calling the color commentary for the Fox Sports Net broadcast of the Arena Football League game of the New York Dragons versus the Nashville Kats on Saturday February 19, 2005 from the Nassau Coliseum. This will be Palmers only scheduled television appearance for the New York Dragons.
The former TV star from ABC's The Bachelor will not be broadcasting his first AFL game on Saturday; however it is not his first color commentary stint. He previously called an AFL game in 2001 in Buffalo, NY.
Although Palmer will be new to the game in front of the camera, he has a past history with players on the field. Palmer's college teammate, Travis McGriff is an offensive specialist for the Orlando Predators. The Florida resident has attended several Predators games in the past.
