New York Boulders News Release
In danger of suffering a series sweep to a team that's narrowly ahead in the division, the Boulders (37-33) knew with roughly a month left before the postseason, every game counts. That attitude provided a lift for the red, white, and blue tonight.
Behind seven scoreless innings of three-hit ball from David Palladino--which featured six strikeouts--and two from Nick Kennedy and Kyle Hansen combined, Rockland snapped a two game skid with a 2-0 victory over the Capitales (39-32) on Thursday night.
The only runs came in the 1st when Cody Regis singled in RBIs number forty four and forty five on the year. He was one of five Boulders to register a hit on the night.
This marked the last game in the second to last season series between the two teams. They meet again after Rockland completes its weekend series with the Aigles, which starts tomorrow at 7:05pm EST.
