
Pacifics Win Their 50th Game of the Season, Sweeping Vallejo

VALLEJO, Calif. - The San Rafael Pacifics put the finishing touches on a series sweep over the Vallejo Admirals in dominating fashion, 12-6xx, on Thursday night.
The offense was led by Chase Fontaine and Matt Kavanaugh. The two combined to go 5 for 10 with 6 runs batted in. Both hitters used the long ball, Fontaine launched his 6th of the season in the first with a two-run shot, and Kavanaugh followed suit in the third with his third home run of the season. Very quietly, Price Kendall was perfect, going 5 for 5 with a run batted in.
Pacifics starter Ross Pomerantz lasted five inning in a winning effort. The Marin Academy product allowed 3 runs (none earned) on seven hits.
The Pacifics, after locking up first place last night, earn their 50th win of the season and extend their winning streak to four games. San Rafael heads home, opening a three game series with the Hawai'i Stars at Albert Park, beginning on Friday.
