SAN RAFAEL,Calif.- The Pacifics improved to 10 - 4, notching their eighth straight win and completing their second sweep of the season. In the final game of the three game series, the Vallejo Admirals were unable to contain the Pacifics offense. The Pacifics scored seven runs on 11 hits to beat the Admirals 7 - 1.

Starting pitcher Dany Mosquea went the distance picking up his first complete game on the season allowing eight hits while striking out seven. He improved to 2 - 0 on the season and lowered his ERA to 1.17.

"I didn't feel like I was going to make it the first inning, but after each inning I kept feeling better and better", Mosquea said.

The Pacifics got off to a quick start scoring four runs in the first inning. Mike Orefice extended his hitting streak to 12 games with a double off the top of the right field wall. Maikel Jova extended his streak to nine games with an RBI single. The Pacifics hot hitting continued in the third inning as they tacked on two more runs with RBI's by Chase Fontaine and Ryan Priddy.

After sitting out the beginning of the season with a hamstring injury, Priddy was able to be effective in the lineup for the second night in a row.

"I'm feeling good, trying not to do too much, just excited to be out there", he said. "I've taken over a million swings already, so the swing's the same, it's just kind of mental now".

He went 3-4 with a double and two RBI's in his second game back.

In the fifth inning Fontaine recorded his second RBI on the night and 13th of the season with an RBI single. After five innings, the Pacifics led 7-0.

In the top of the eighth inning, the Admirals were able to plate their only run of the game on an error by left fielder Charlie Stewart.

The Pacifics will travel to Vallejo on Friday to take on the Admirals in a three game series at Wilson Park. First pitch is slated for 7:05 p.m.
