Pacifics Walk off with Fifth Consecutive Victory

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. - The San Rafael Pacifics rallied for two runs in the bottom of the ninth, then walked off in the tenth on a three-run home run by Price Kendall to beat the Vallejo Admirals, 8-5, on Wednesday night at Albert Park.

After tying the game at four in the ninth - and down by one in the tenth - Pacifics short stop Danny Gonzalez reached on a fielder's choice, and later scored on a passed ball to tie it. After back-to-back walks to Jamie McGraw and Zack Pace, Kendall launched a three run home run on a breaking ball that sent San Rafael (8-3) home with their fifth consecutive victory.

San Rafael starter, Bennett Whitmore, allowed three runs in the first but settled down to toss six scoreless innings. The left-hander surrendered nine hits, one walk, and struck out five.

The Pacifics and Admirals continue their series on Thursday night, all fans in attendance will receive a magnet schedule sponsored by Extreme Pizza. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PST.
