
Pacifics Split Double Header with Second Place Maui

WAILUKU, Hawai'i - The San Rafael Pacifics settled for a split in their seven-inning double header against Na Koa Ikaika Maui on Saturday.
In game one, Maui (31-16) scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to walk off on Pacifics closer Colin Allen and spoil a 6 1/3 inning effort by starter, Kyle Devore. Short stop Danny Gonzalez hit his third home run of the season for San Rafael in a losing cause.
The Pacifics won game two, 1-0, as Ross Pomerantz threw 6 2/3 innings while allowing just two hits. Closer Colin Allen recovered from his blown save to retire the side in the ninth and preserve the win for San Rafael (32-14).
