
Pacifics Drop 18-7 Decision to Federals

Prescott, Ariz. - The San Rafael Pacifics dropped a 18-7 decision to the Prescott Montezuma Federals on Sunday afternoon at Roughrider Park in Prescott, Ariz.
Right-hander Kyle Devore allowed eleven earned runs - all via the home run - and twelve hits, striking out four, with no walks. San Rafael High graduate, Steve Detwiler, made his 2013-pitching debut - tossing 3 1/3 innings.
The Federals (2-2) hit a total of five home runs in the game - two from catcher, Matt Chavez and Kenny Mickens. Chavez went 3 for 4 with five runs batted in and scored three runs
Pacifics (2-2) third baseman Kyle Dhanani drove in his first run of the season, and designated hitter Darrick Hale hit his first home run in the fifth.
