Pacifics Beat Santa Rosa Rose Buds 18-2

Santa Rosa, Calif. - The San Rafael Pacifics used an seven-run eighth inning to help propel them to a 18-2 victory over the Santa Rosa Rose Buds at Marina Carillo High School in Santa Rosa, Calif. on Saturday.

Pacifics second baseman Price Kendall extended his hitting streak to eight games with a two hit day, Kendall also drove in three runs. Maikel Jova was 3-for-6 with four RBI, the right fielder also hit his first home run of the season in the eighth inning. Danny Gonzalez (2-for-4), Matt Quintero (2-for-5) and Zack Pace (3-for-4) all had RBIs for San Rafael.

Right-hander Logan Odom earned his first win of the season, throwing six innings while allowing an unearned run. Odom surrendered just two hits, walked four, but struck out ten. Newly acquired lefty, A.J. Gallardo, made his professional debut. The California State East Bay product pitched a shutout inning with one strikeout.
