San Rafael Pacifics News Release

San Rafael, CA - For many young baseball fans, a professional ballplayer is their hero. The San Rafael Pacifics Baseball Club is proud to announce they will be honoring true heroes, the men and women firefighters who put their lives on the line daily to help their community.

On July 14th, the Pacifics will host Firefighter Appreciation Night as the Vallejo Admirals come to Albert Park in San Rafael for a 7:05 pm matchup.

The Pacifics will be donating a portion of the game's proceeds to the San Rafael Fire Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the resources available to San Rafael firefighters and paramedics.

For $25 fans can purchase a special event package that includes a game ticket, a unique firefighter themed Pacifics baseball t-shirt presented by Alten Construction, and a $10 donation to the San Rafael Fire Foundation.

Firefighters and their families get into the game for free.

The Marin Professional Firefighters Association will be present at the game, representing the 11 fire departments and fire prevention districts of Marin County. They will bring a firetruck and ambulance to Albert Park for fans to explore, throw out the ceremonial first pitch, and interact with fans during the game.

Tickets are available at www.pacificsbaseball.com as well as at the Barbier Security Ticket Booth before and during Pacifics games.
