Pacific Football Club (0-2-0) are on the road midweek at York Lions Stadium Wednesday, July 16th to face York9 FC (1-1-0). Kickoff in the game is set for 4:00 p.m. PST.

Pacific FC hosted back-to-back home games against the two top teams from the Spring Season, Cavalry FC and Forge FC, narrowly dropping both games by a score of 3-2. The young side has looked dangerous going forward with the trio of Victor Blasco, Terran Campbell and Ben Fisk up front. The Island contingent will look to grab their first points of the Fall Season away from home. Despite multiple injuries, Wednesday will see the potential full return of defenders Lukas MacNaughton and Hendrik Starostzik. Additionally, Panamanian midfielder Alex Gonzalez will return to the lineup following a two-game suspension.

Pacific FC's ever consistent Matthew Baldisimo will not travel with an accumulation of yellow cards keeping him out versus York9.

Despite dropping the Fall Season opener in Halifax, York9 FC led by head coach Jimmy Brennan returned to York Lions Stadium in fine fashion. Wednesday night in the Canadian Championship the Ontario side had an impressive 2-2 result versus MLS side Montreal Impact FC. This performance was followed up on Sunday evening, ending FC Edmonton's 4 game winning streak by a score of 2-1.

July 17th is an important game for Pacific FC as they look to grab their first win of the Fall Season. Meanwhile, York9 will want to capitalize and grab another three points at home.

Vancouver Island fans can join in the excitement at Darcy's Pub Downtown and Westshore as well as Strathcona. The Wednesday evening matchup will also be streamed live on www.onesoccer.ca.
