Pacheco Named TCL Pitcher of the Week

Victoria native Jordan Pacheco has been named the Texas Collegiate League Pitcher of the Week for week one of the 2012 TCL season. Pacheco notched wins in his first two starts on the mound for the Victoria Generals this summer. The right-hander shut down the Acadiana Cane Cutters in the home opener on June 3 and did the same to the McKinney Marshals a week later on June 10.
In his two starts, Pacheco went 2-0 with a 0.60 ERA. He allowed just one earned run across 15 innings of work while striking out 10 batters.
Pacheco and the Generals are back in action tonight at 7:05pm at Riverside Stadium in Victoria to take on the East Texas Pump Jacks.
