
P-Nats to Host "Superhero Day" on Sunday, May 6th

The Potomac Nationals are excited to host Superhero Day at Pfitzner Stadium on Sunday, May 6th.
For the final game of the series against the Salem Red Sox (Boston), the P-Nats are inviting out both superheroes and super villains to come out to the ballpark on Superhero Day, where there will be a costume contest for both best superhero and villain. Superhero prizes will be handed out throughout the game, while fans can also take a picture at a photo station with the Hulk, Superman, Batman, Spiderman, and Wonder Woman.
Once the game begins, the ballpark will be split up into nine separate sections, with each player in the P-Nats starting lineup representing a section. If a player, who will be also be represented by a superhero, hits a homerun, then that section will win a free ticket to a future P-Nats game, excluding July 4th, which fans will be able to pick up as they exit the stadium.
The Potomac Nationals' six-game homestand will also conclude with a Victor Robles "Little League" T-Shirt Giveaway, presented by Extreme Custom Collision. The t-shirt will be available for the first 500 kids and first 500 adults. The t-shirt will have a picture of former P-Nats OF Victor Robles in the style of the popular "Backyard Baseball" game on the front and his name and number with the P-Nats on the back.
Sunday, May 6th will also serve as another Reading Program Day, which allows students who participated in Uncle Slam's Reading Program to be recognized for their achievements in a pre-game parade.
During the game, P-Nats players will wear their Military Appreciation Jerseys, presented by Reality Realty. The P-Nats will wear Military Appreciation Jerseys on select games throughout the season to recognize the local military members and their families and to thank them for all that they do for our country.
May 6th will also be another Kid's Day Sunday at Pfitzner Stadium. On Sunday home games throughout the season, kids can enjoy perks throughout the game, which include giveaways, post-game Kids Run the Bases presented by Glory Days Grill, a post-game player autograph signing, and a post-game catch on the field. This Sunday, the first 250 kids 12 and under will receive a free drink and hot dog. Kids can have their face painted by Facing Angels in the main concourse throughout the game.
Kids can also experience "Touch a Bus", presented by PRTC, where they can explore buses parked directly outside of Pfitzner Stadium.
Finally, fans can take advantage of another Virginia529 Super Saver Sunday. If fans show their Virginia529 Smart Savers Club Card at the Extreme Custom Collision Ticket Office, they can receive two free grandstand tickets to the game.
First pitch between the P-Nats and the Red Sox is at 1:05pm. Gates to the ballpark will open at 12:00pm.
