
P.K. Subban Named OHL Eastern Conference All-Star Captain

Belleville Bulls defeceman P.K. Subban has been named the Eastern Conference Captain for the 2009 Subway OHL All-Star Classic being held this Wednesday in Windsor. Bulls Captain Eric Tangradi has been named an Assistant Captain for the event as well.
Subban is making his second consecutive all-star appearance and has recorded eight goals and 51 points in 40 games played with the Bulls this season. He also won a second consecutive gold medal with Team Canada at the 2009 World Junior Hockey Championship in January.
Tangradi is making his first all-star game appearance and currently leads the Bulls and sits tied for second in OHL scoring with 31 goals and 69 points in 43 games played. Tangradi also represented the United States at the 2009 World Junior Hockey Championship.
Subban and Tangradi are joined at the game by teammates Shawn Lalonde, Mike Murphy, and Bryan Cameron along with General Manager & Head Coach George Burnett, Assistant Coach Jake Grimes, Athletic Therapist Ryan Bennett, and Equipment Manager Matt Sands.
The 2009 Subway OHL All-Star Classic features the Eastern Conference and Western Conference All-Stars in a two-day event including a skills competition on February 3 with the game on the following night. The game can be seen live on Rogers Sportsnet Ontario at 7:00pm.
