NOLA Gold News Release

Good Afternoon,

I hope this letter finds you and your family safe and doing well. During the past few months since our abbreviated 2020 season, we have been busy preparing for a great return in 2021. The full-schedule is not out yet, but we will be ready for rugby action in the Gold Mine (formerly Zephyr Stadium in Metairie) starting in February. Head Coach Nate Osborne, General Manager Ryan Fitzgerald, and Director of Player Personnel Todd Fitzgerald have been grinding away at building an even stronger and more dynamic team for next season! We are healthy, focused and dedicated to continuing our goal of competing to be the best franchise, on and off the pitch, in Major League Rugby (MLR). We will again have eight regular season home games and the chance to host the Eastern Conference and MLR Championships. In other exciting news, in 2021 MLR will be contested by 13 teams due to the addition of expansion teams in Dallas and Los Angeles.

The support of our Season Ticket Holders is the bedrock of our organization. We cannot exist and bring our community this exciting, family-friendly sport without them. We hope you will consider being a NOLA Gold Rugby Season Ticket Holder and be in that number at the Gold Mine in 2021. We pledge to do everything we can to pursue a championship and to ensure you can always be proud to call NOLA Gold your team. Please see below the benefits of being a Season Ticket Holder.
