The Chico Outlaws win the GBL FIRST HALF CHAMPIOSHIP as the Long Beach Armada fall to the Orange County Flyers 7-2.
This is the Outlaws' first half-season or division pennant and they will be hosting the first two games of the GBL Championship Series on August 28th and 29th.
Manager Mark Parent's squad sits atop the standings with a record of 24-12 and will finish off the first half with two meaningless games at Reno before embarking on the second half of the GBL season on Thursday night against the Silver Sox.
Playoff tickets for the first two games at Nettleton Stadium in Chico can be purchased by calling the Outlaws at 530-345-3210 and will be available on the internet shortly.
