Outlaws to Scrimmage Pioneers in Sixth Annual Colorado Lacrosse Showcase

DENVER - The 2014 MLL Champion Denver Outlaws will scrimmage the University of Denver men's lacrosse team on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 1 p.m. MT at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium, the teams announced Thursday.
In addition to seeing a showcase of the best lacrosse talent in Colorado, fans will have the opportunity to view and take a photo with the Steinfeld Trophy and purchase a 2014 MLL Championship commemorative t-shirt at the scrimmage.
The Outlaws will be represented by nearly all of the 2014 Champion squad with General Manager Tony Seaman, Head Coach B.J. O'Hara and Assistant General Manager/Assistant Coach Jon Cohen on-site coaching at the scrimmage.
The DU Pioneers are coming off their third Championship Weekend appearance in the last four years. Four players on the Outlaws' 2014 season active roster donned the crimson and gold during their collegiate days at DU.
Tickets for the Sixth Annual Colorado Lacrosse Showcase are on sale now. Admission is $5, and fans can purchase tickets by phone at 303-871-2336, in person at the Ritchie Center box office or through DenverPioneers.com by clicking here.

Following the scrimmage, the Outlaws will host two clinics with instruction from current Denver Outlaws players, with both clinics occurring simultaneously from 4-5 p.m. on the turf at Peter Barton Stadium.
