DENVER - The Denver Outlaws and presenting partner Xcel Energy will hold the teams 10th annual Mile High Fourth of July fireworks game on Saturday against the Boston Cannons at Sports Authority Field at Mile High (7 p.m. MDT faceoff).
Featuring the only postgame stadium fireworks show in Denver on July 4, the Outlaws will offer a unique close-proximity experience with fireworks launched from inside the bowl at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The fireworks show, for ticketed fans, will ignite close to 10,000 rounds and will be paired with a music video tribute on the stadium's 220-foot-long by 40-foot-high ThunderVision screen.
"We are excited to provide our fans with a great matchup on the field between Denver and Boston, followed up with a tremendous fireworks show to be projected on our state-of-the-art ThunderVision screen," Outlaws Director of Sales and Marketing Ted Tseng said. "As host of the only postgame fireworks show in Denver we are hopeful for another record-breaking crowd."
Produced by Zambelli International, the postgame fireworks will feature the latest in close-proximity pyrotechnics designed and utilized with the utmost confidence in both indoor and outdoor venues, including rooftops, stadiums, theaters, amusement parks and convention centers.
A total of 219,324 fans have come through the turnstiles at Sports Authority Field at Mile High for the nine Outlaws' Mile High Fourth of July games that have been played to date. The Outlaws have posted a 6-3 record on Independence Day Celebration games.
