Denver Outlaws News Release

DENVER - Following yesterday's Outlaws' home opener against the Charlotte Hounds midfielder Jeremy Sieverts was named the Coca-Cola Player of the Game. His three goals and one assist during the game contributed to the accolade. This is Sieverts' second hat trick of the season and the 14th of his career with Denver, the sixth-most hat tricks by an Outlaw.

Sieverts scored the final goal of the first quarter to tie the score at 2 after one period. His lone assist came on the only Outlaws goal of the third quarter by Drew Snider. Snider also had a hat trick in the match. The third quarter was the only quarter in which the Hounds outscored the Outlaws.

Sieverts sparked a three-goal run to kick off the fourth quarter with a goal assisted by Mike Bocklet. Two more goals followed in the next 2:12 of the game, including Sieverts' third goal of the game. Not only did this goal complete Sieverts' second hat trick in as many games, but it was an acrobatic, behind-the-back dunk, earning him Coca-Cola Player of the Game honors.
