
Outlaws Home Opener to Cap Tripleheader at Sports Authority Field at Mile High

DENVER - The Denver Outlaws will host the Rochester Rattlers in the team's home opener at 7 p.m. MDT on Saturday, May 18 as the third game in a lacrosse tripleheader at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
Saturday will mark the debut for the stadium's brand new scoreboard that was installed during the offseason. The new, high-definition scoreboard is 220 feet long by 40 feet high and is the third largest stadium scoreboard in the United States.
To start the tripleheader, Wheat Ridge will take on Air Academy in the Colorado Class 4A Championship Game. Wheat Ridge's offense is led by Offensive Coordinator Chris Bocklet, who is the Outlaws' leading scorer.
Following that game, Arapahoe and Cherry Creek will face off at 4:30 p.m. in the Class 5A Title Game.
Denver vs. Rochester will conclude the tripleheader at 7 p.m. Admission to the two high school contests is free with the purchase of a ticket to the Outlaws' game.
