Outlaws Announce Open Tryouts for 2015 Roster

DENVER - The 2014 MLL Champion Denver Outlaws announced the date for their 2015 open tryouts. The second annual call for talent will be held in Denver on Sunday, March 7. Time and location will be announced at a later date.
The team will add at least one player to its 40-man preseason active roster that is selected from the open tryouts.
Head Coach B.J. O'Hara and Assistant General Manager Jon Cohen will be on hand to select a player(s) of any position to complete the roster. Last year, a total of four players were added from the tryout, including midfielder Noah Molnar, who was on the opening week 25-man roster and played two regular season games for the team.
The tryout will consist of a brief combine with competitive drills and game-like situations followed by a scrimmage.
The cost for participating in the tryout is $125 for players signed up by Dec. 17, and increases to $150 per player after that date. The registration fee includes a reversible Denver Outlaws Academy pinnie.
In order to participate in the tryout, players must pre-register for the Major League Lacrosse Player Pool and be at least 21 years of age. The deadline to register for the MLL Player Pool is Wednesday, Dec. 10 at noon ET.
