Our Players Need Good Homes

March 22, 2017 - Coastal Plain League (Coastal Plain)
Lexington County Blowfish News Release

All Host Families Receive: Reserved Grandstand Season Tickets for all 28 home games and now in 2017 (3) exhibition games. Parking pass for an assigned area behind the third base grandstand. Invitation to special events. Host family, player and staff pre-season BBQ.

The Blowfish Players travel from all over the country to play here in Lexington County. We are seeking families to host our players this summer. Being a Blowfish Baseball host family contains a certain amount of expectation. It is important to remember that you are being entrusted to provide essential comfort for the player by both the organization and his family members.

Our host families provide: A room in a safe environment. Access to a bathroom. Access to laundry. Meals are at the discretion of the family.

As a host family, there are many rewards this service can bring to your family such as excellent role models for young children and teenagers, players are great company for the entire households as well as providing a valuable service to your community. Often times players build great lifetime relationships with host families. In fact, it is not uncommon for a player to remain in touch with his summer collegiate baseball host family for years afterward, even when he has lost touch with the team itself.
